Elizabeth has been in the dental field for over 40 years. She started as a chairside dental assistant in 1975!
She loves helping and interacting with patients, as well as building long lasting relationships. She is extremely devoted to her job, her patients and her dental team.
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys her daily walks with her husband and spending quality time with her family, especially her two grandchildren.
Elizabeth speaks fluent Portuguese and French.
Graduating from VCC as a Certified Dental Assistant Sandy has been working in the dental field for over 30 years. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has always enjoyed building trust and friendship with patients over the years.
When not at work she enjoys golfing and spending time outdoors.
Anita graduated from the dental reception program at BCIT, soon after, she returned back to school to receive her Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) from Kwantlen University.
She continues to broaden her skills by participating in continuing education courses in office management, dental advancements and new technology.
Thanks to her dental knowledge and years of experience, Anita strives to provide the best care and service to every patient.
In her free time, Anita loves spending time outdoors and keeping in shape. She is also fluent in Croatian, German and Italian.
Trina began her dental journey as a chair-side assistant in an orthodontic clinic.
She enjoys interacting and helping patients ensure they receive the best care possible.
In her free time, she loves spending time with friends and family, traveling and finding new restaurants to try calling herself a big “foodie”.
Trina also speaks both English and tagalog fluently.
Wanting to work in the dental field, Simona left her position in the textile industry to work as a chairside assistant. She later obtained her certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). Since then, Simona has assisted in all aspects of general dentistry, but has a special passion for dental surgery.
Simona is a valuable member of The Grove team, working alongside Dr. Chan. We are grateful for Simonas gentle and kind manner. Her smiles and calm demeanor will put you at ease during any dental appointment.
Simona loves spending time with family and friends, enjoying staying active and working in her garden. Simona is also fluent in Romanian and Hungarian.
Marcey has been a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) for over 30 years and we are excited to have her as part of our team!
She loves all aspects of dentistry, while her greatest pleasure is helping educate patients on their oral health and creating a calm and relaxing environment for them.
Marcey was born and raised in Vancouver and now resides in Maple Ridge with her husband, three sons and two fur babies who they absolutely adore. In her free time she loves all things Disney, watching her sons play ball hockey and traveling.
Fiby is an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with a rich professional
background spanning five years as a dental hygienist and more than thirteen years in the dental field.
A graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program at Vancouver Community College, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Chemistry and Zoology from Cairo University in Egypt, bringing a wealth of diverse knowledge to her practice.
Fiby is not only dedicated to ensuring optimal oral health for her patients but also possesses a genuine passion for education. Her commitment to increasing patient awareness about oral health is evident in her approach, where she goes beyond routine procedures to impart valuable insights to those under her care.
Outside of her professional commitments, Fiby volunteers her spare time, actively
engaging in organizing activities for youth groups. This dual commitment to both her profession and community exemplifies Fiby’s unwavering dedication and holistic approach to well-rounded dental care.
Tonie has 5 years of dental experience. She decided to join the dental field because she comes from a long line of dentists. She received her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene at Seattle Central College in Seattle, WA.
In January of 2024, she became a permanent resident of BC and currently resides in Coquitlam with her husband.
Her main goal in dentistry is to make everyone feel comfortable in the dental chair and to love coming to the dentist!
In her spare time, Tonie loves to travel to new places. She visits back home to Seattle often to see family and friends. She loves trying new restaurants and getting lost in a good book.
